Our Vision
My family immigrated from Poland to New York in the early 1990’s. The move was inspired by my father, who at the time, did not see much of an economic opportunity for us after the fall of communism in Poland. He envisioned a better life for us in the United States.
I have great admiration for my father, who took calculated risks and has been an entrepreneur his entire life. In Poland, he owned a brick manufacturing company. In the United States, he became a general contractor and was partnered with the #1 real estate company on Eastern Long Island. He dabbled in flipping houses for his own real estate portfolio. And for 22 years, he was the center and bedrock of the local Polish community through his ownership of a Polish grocery and food store.
My parents always steered me in the direction of the American dream— go to college, get educated and get that stable corporate job. This is exactly what I did…
I have a Master’s in Public Health from the University of California, Berkeley. I spent the early part of my career in management and operations at Stanford Healthcare, Optum Medical Group, and NYU Langone Medical Center. Most recently, I developed strategy for regional and national health plans.
After 15 years in the corporate world, I have my own vision to fulfill to become an entrepreneur and business owner. Forty years of watching my dad build meaningful relationships ingrained in the community, do the work that truly inspires him, and learn the art & science of being the heartbeat of the local economy, I am now following in his footsteps.
I have a newfound energy as I embark on this journey, hence the name of our company Vivace Ventures— indicating liveliness, growth, and full of energy.
